Fraser Valley Kids Fair

www.fraservalleykids.com
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!
Inflatable Games Attendants
We need attendants to supervise and restrict access to the bouncy castles and various inflatable games, for a period of 7 hours (10am-5pm). Each bouncy has a maximum allowable capacity of children which must be respected. Crowd control and ensuring the smooth operation of the game is a critical role at the fair.
There are 8 shifts available of 3.5 hours each, although we would prefer only 4 attendants who are willing to work for 7 hours as this eliminates re-training, and ensures continuity.
Concession Stand Attendants
We need attendants to serve popcorn throughout the day, operating the popcorn machine, ensuring there is an adequate supply of popcorn produced and that customers need not wait for excessive periods of time, and that money is collected and safely guarded. We would like two volunteers to occupy this concession to help each other. Drinks will also be sold. Preference given to volunteers who possess a Food Safe 1 certificate.
There are 4 shifts available of 3.5 hours each, although we would prefer only 2 attendants who are willing to work for 7 hours as this prevents re-training through the day, and ensures continuity.
Set-up / Take-down Team
We need anywhere from 2-6 volunteers to help starting at 8am to assist with setup, moving tables, chairs, and helping exhibitors move into their location. The same needs to take place beginning at 5pm to help take down tables, chairs and otherwise clear the area.
For more information, and to register to become an Official Fair Volunteer please contact Michael van Lierop at info@fraservalleykids.com
